Disney Photo of the Week: Visiting the Mouse in 1992!

Hopefully everyone is enjoying their weekend!  There are only three weeks left of the semester, so things around here are busy, busy, busy!  Anyway, time to get to the photo for this week. :)  It's quite an oldie.

Week 16: Visiting the Mouse in 1992!

At least we're assuming this one was taken in 1992.  Disney trips back then seem to blur together!  In this photo, my sister Laura and I are obviously visiting Mickey Mouse.  But wait!  Check out his old-school dressing room!  It's been so long since then, I totally forgot what it looked like!  This photo makes me very nostalgic about the old area where Toontown Fair is now, and where Fantasyland Forest is soon to be.

Also, here's a funny story.  We have a VHS recording of when my sister and I met Mickey Mouse on our first trip to WDW in 1991.  My sister was about six months old at the time, and she took one look at him and burst into tears!  Poor Mickey looked so confused and tried to make her feel better, but she'd have none of it.  And in this photo taken roughly a year later, it looks like she's still a bit traumatized from their first meeting!
